The SJ Cares ministry provides love and support to those who are struggling with life’s challenges. We have all needed the help of others to see our way through a difficult time, and SJ Cares ensures that we help those in need.
SA Food Bank
SJ has partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to actively fight hunger by providing food and hope throughout San Antonio and Southwest Texas.
Children’s Shelter
SJ partnered with the Children’s Shelter Family of Services where we help to support the delivery of high quality, compassionate trauma-informed care to children and families impacted by or at-risk of abuse and neglect.
Backpack Drive
As parents prepare for the new school year, the backpack drive helps to ensure that each student has the academic supplies needed to have a fun, fulfilling and successful school year ahead.
Coat Closet
The Coat Closet is a ministry that fills student needs for warm clothing during colder months. SJ supplies jackets and coats for students at the local grade schools to help ensure the health and safety of our children.
